VerSache the Barbarian is a comic book concept that has been floating around in my much battered skull for many years. The basic premise is that in a time long before anyone could be bothered to take notes of historical interest, VerSache, a Caledonian Surfer took to the high seas searching for that perfect wave (over and over again), however a man still has to earn a living, so there's a bit of piracy and looting along the way. Down through the centuries his descendents have noticed a preternatural affinity for surfing and extreme yet strangely creative violence. Neither of these skills lend themselves for successful intergration into western society.
