" Comedy, is
when you're sitting at a sidewalk cafe on a sunny day.
A man comes strolling along in a nice suit and you see him
fall into an open manhole. Tragedy, is
when you get a paper cut on the end of your finger
and it really hurts. Trasharama agogo is when the shattered remains of the man in the nice suit attracts a roving band of cannibalistic humanoid underground dwellers, who after feasting, catch the scent of your bleeding digit and launch out of the sewers with a blood-lust that only your death can sate,...while your friend films the entire episode."

Client : Trasharama A-go-go Annual short Film Festival.
Brief : Update Promotional comic book Style Art for the 2017 Trasharama Festerval for all manner of promotional multi-media.
Medium : Digital illustration (Wacom Tablet ): Spine-Grrl was created in Adobe Photoshop 2008 a.d. The Character was designed for promotional flyers, for the trasharama website and sold as badges, stubbie holders, T-shirts and Skateboard Decks also the character will be used for next years animated title sequence. For the 2017 artwork The character's skull has been restructured, her hair was given a bit more style and shape at the back as well as flipping the character which required swappng the eye sockets around. The origin/back-story for SpineGrrl comes from the Crumbles Murders: Due to the wants and needs of narrative causality the dismembered remains of Emily Cayne (not as it is often misrepresented as Emily Kaye) and her unborn foetus were discovered mostly in a beach house at The Crumbles, On 2nd May 1924, which she had shared with her married lover Patrick Mahon. Mahon, worked as a salesman and had met Miss Kaye during a visit to the company she worked for. Back at the beach house 4 large chunks of Emily as well as 37 smaller fragments and various internal organs were found: The forensic pathologist on the case was Sir Bernard Spilsbury. Spilsbury was able to reconstruct the body, but could not unambiguously determine the cause of death. Mahon was tried in Sussex before Mr. Justice Avory, (whose contempt for the prisoner shone through in his summing up) convicted and hanged for the crime in Wandsworth Prison, London in early September 1924, with differing sources giving the 2nd, 3rd and the 9th as the exact date. Anecdotal accounts suggest that Mahon offered resistance on the scaffold, apparently attempting to jump clear of the trap when the lever was pulled.
