A Logo (or trademark) tends to be a design or emblem that (in theory at least) best represents a company or association. Most Companies whether large, medium or small, have a logo to give their company identity. For online applications simply having a logo isn't always enough.
Animating a company's logo can be as simple as moving the logo onto the screen, or a more complex concept that incorporates additional information to let the viewer get a feel for what the company's objectives are and what they do for their clients.
