Design Notes : Conceptually, The Yoga Show (the ultimate health show) is to be a weekly ½ hour TV program that gently undermines the western myth of "no pain, no gain" by taking the viewer through fun and easy ways to achieve a healthier and happier lifestyle. The oracular and entertaining Yogi-D guides the couch-bound observer through the philosophy, discipline, practical applications and personality of yóga on this metaphysical adventure. Yogi -D is a living link to a tradition of yogis that can be traced back through millennia. Not merely a practitioner of postures; he lives and breaths the philosophy of yoga in his everyday life. Through The Yoga Show he provides in-depth, contemporary teachings on the ancient science that is yoga. These teachings are presented in three segments within each episode - Asana-Exercise, Ahar-Diet and Satsanga-Interview.
